Carroll Valley had a very interesting beginning. It was named after one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, John Carroll.
Orrtanna is a small town adjacent to Fairfield. Don't let it fool you. Take a drive around and you will see beautiful farms, apple orchards, Adams County Winery and Hickory Bridge Farm, which has a restaurant and Bed and Breakfast.
